Praise be to Him who has bequeathed to us His clear Book and those upon us to be guided by His light... And after that, the one who caused misfortune to do so will say: Ahmed Al-Damanhouri..., Colophon: The copying of this blessed copy was completed on the twenty-two of Sha’ban in the year 1251 by the poorest and neediest slaves of his rich master, the singer Ahmed Ibn Ibrahim Al-Sharbatli. O God, forgive him, his father, his sheikhs, his brothers, and all Muslims, and may God bless our master Muhammad and his family and companions.
