Praise be to God for the blessings of blessings upon His Messenger Muhammad... And then the weak servant Qawam al-Din Amir Kateb bin Amir Omar al-Amid al-Qarabi al-Taqani says... I was honored in guarded Damascus..., Colophon: It was transmitted to himself by Ahmed bin Yaqoub bin Ishaq bin Khwaja Haji al-Karadi. Al-Hadi from the author’s handwriting on Friday, the fourteenth of the month of Muharram, in the year seven hundred and sixty-six, in Damascus, guarded by the Shemisatiya Khanqah, may God have mercy on its one who stood there. Praise be to God alone, and may God’s prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.
