On the title page is a quotation from Sharḥ al-Arbaʻīn (traditions) by al-Shabrākhīti (1106 H) quoting the Prophet on the value of imparting one’s knowledge to others., Ms. codex., Origin: According to colophon copied Wednesday 6 Ṣafar 1057 by Ṣāliḥ al-Nūsī al-Shāfiʻī (fol. 62b)., Title from title page (fol. 1a)., Colophon: The completion of writing this copy occurred on Wednesday, the sixth of Safar al-Khair, fifty-seven years after the completion of the thousand, by It was written by Saleh al-Nusi al-Shafi’i al-Azhari. May God Almighty forgive him and his parents and those who read it and pray for their forgiveness. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. It has been completed.
