Rare., Origin: According to colophon copy completed 6 Shawwāl 912 by ʻAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʻAbd al-Laṭīf ibn al-Falakī al-̣Halabī (fol. 46b)., Colophon: The purposes have been facilitated for visitors to mosques, with the praise and help of God, on the night of the sixth of the blessed month of Shawwal, in the months of the year Monday. Nine hundred and ten. And it was written by the poor man, to God Almighty, Abd al-Rahman ibn Abd al-Latif ibn al-Falaki al-Halabi, a writer in the Noble Diwan in Tripoli... the property of its owner, who is now imprisoned in al-Irqanah in the Noble Court in the Noble Citadel of al-Mansoura in Egypt, with his hand in his wrist for a period of one year and ten months to date. Its history is one year and ten months. We ask God Almighty for a good outcome for the sake of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace. May God forgive those who read it. He prayed for joy and forgiveness for him and for all Muslims, and God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions, and grant them abundant peace. Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, may God’s prayers and peace be upon Muhammad, from the book Tashil Al-Maqasid by Sheikh Imam Al-Qudwa, the Muslim Mufti...
