Written in a casual medium, small naskh in black ink with use of red. Glazed European paper. Catchwords on the verso of each folio. Foliation in pencil in Western numerals. Title on lower edge of text block: Mawāqiʻ al-nujūm. Ownership statement, accompanied by a seal, in the name of al-Sayyid Aḥmad Nūrī on fol. 1a., Incipit: Praise be to God, the Ever-Living, the Ever-Living, divided by the locations of the stars... As for what comes after me, the one with the sound mind and endowed with the descriptions of perfection and completion, Explicit: The white pearl that brings us to these high and holy stations through submission and delegation to the resources of the Judge and to His good and pure God. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and there is no power or strength except in God, the Most High, the Great. The sites and readings have been completed with the help of God Almighty. Half leather with envelope flap. Spine and fore-edge flap in brown leather. Covers and envelope flap in glazed orange paper embossed in floral pattern over pasteboard. End leaves in blue and black marbled paper. Lining to the fore-edge flap in blue paper.
