| Notes | Two treatises on the construction and use of astronomical instruments. The manuscript was copied at Hyderabad Deccan in 1066/1656 for Qubād ibn ‘Abd al-Jalīl al-Ḥārithī al-Badakhshī (Qubad ibn Abd al-Jalil al-Harithi al-Badakhshi, d. 1083/1672-3), later known by the honorific title Diyānat Khān (Diyanet Khan, see f. 59v, lines 22-23 and Qubād's note in the margin of f. 18v in which he refers to himself as 'the owner of these folios' [the owner of these papers]). The text was copied by ʿAbd al-Karīm al-Nahī (? Abd al-Karim al-Nahī, see f. 59v, lines 18-23). The diagrams and tables were copied by Qubād ibn ‘Abd al-Jalīl himself (see his note on f. 1r and f. 59v, lines 22-24).
