The author was born in Al-Sabeer, on the outskirts of Hadhramaut, and died in Al-Hawi. He was buried in Tarim. He was blind and was persecuted by the young rulers of Tarim, so he moved to Al-Hawi. He was a Sufi jurist. Among his books are: The Contract of Monotheism, The Perfect Call and the General Remembrance, Sufi Issues, Ithaf Al-Quwa’il bi-Ajwabat Al-Quwat, and Insight of the Guardian in the Method of the Sayyids Bani Alawi. In addition to this book, which includes a collection of eloquent sayings, proverbs, and proverbs.
