After the basmalah and al-Hamdala: What was narrated regarding the alms of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn Amr told us, he said: Muhammad ibn Omar al-Waqidi told us, he said: Salih ibn Jaafar informed us on the authority of al-Miswar ibn Rifa’ah, he said: Mukhayriq paid the sum of thirty-two months of his emigrant, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he willed that if he were afflicted, his wealth would be for the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, received it and gave alms.
