The author collected these restrictions from what he received from his sheikh, Abu Al-Hasan Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Laylani Al-Masry, a lover of councils, the first of which was the blessed twelfth of Safar in the year 913 AH, at the Al-Ja’aniyya school in Bulaq. It was proven in the record that the author’s name is Suleiman bin Abdul Rahman, and I do not know where he is from. Microfilm number: 14324.

Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds... Al-Mas said: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. We thank God for His success. Praise is the praise of the beautiful in terms of reverence and glorification, whether attached to virtues or to commas. It says, “I praised the man for his generosity and for his courage.” Success is making the causes agree with the cause.
