Sample Text	Patient gifts. Al-Shafi’i, may God be pleased with him, said: If a sick person initiates a gift during his illness to an heir or non-heir, then what was given to him is given to him. If he is an heir and the sick person does not become healthy until he dies from the illness in which he was given, then the entire gift is rejected, and likewise if something is given to him and then it becomes an heir. If he takes advantage of what was given to him and then the donor dies before it is valid to return the crop, because if he dies, we prove that the ownership of what was given to him was in the possession of the donor.
