Notes
He completed his work in the month of Safar in the year 743 AH. Haji Khalifa mentioned it in Kashf al-Zunun, p. 1480, and he copied the first sentence from it, and it was identical to what was in the manuscript. He named it as a case in the Dictionary of Authors 7: 289, entitled Kashf Ali al-Kashshaf, by Al-Zamakhshari. The type of paper: Oriental, satin and thin, its watermark: devoid of marks, many margins in fonts different from the copyist’s handwriting, its texts indicate that it is for the people of interpretation.
Sample Text
Praise be to God, who illuminated objects with the light of existence and made them visible attributes... Now then, the least of God’s creation and the poorest of them towards Him is Omar ibn Muhammad ibn Abdul Rahman Al-Farsi, may God rectify his situation. He says: He indicated to me the one who committed me in the religion of chivalry, his answer... to be free to reveal the problems of the scout.
