On the last page of the book, the name of the copyist is mentioned as Salih bin Ibrahim bin Marim bin Yahya Al-Mustai (perhaps he means Al-Mustaari), and the date of copying is stated as 1255. Most of the pages are copied in one cursive script, and some are slightly different, while the last letter has a varied handwriting. The book is incomplete from its beginning and from parts of its body. On some pages there are red dots that separate the phrases and then they quickly disappear.
