Notes On it are patched with transparent paper, at the end of the copy of folio 124b, the names of the books that need to be accessed and knowledge of their chains of transmission, arranged according to the letters of the dictionary, and on the last page of the manuscript is what reads (Praise be to God alone... And then its writer read all the written chains of transmission and the forty hadiths mentioned in these booklets to their writer and narrator, the hadith sheikh Najm al-Din Muhammad bin Hasan al-Matani al-Salihi al-Hanbali, reading a novel and learning from its beginning to its end at separate times and days. The whole reading took place in the home of the writer of the letters, Al-Kayn, Zahir Damascus, guarded outside the gates of Paradise and Safety in the Sultan Qaytbay building area, next to the Al-Qasab Mosque, in the alley known as the Hakkar of Kamal al-Din.
Sample Text These are forty hadiths and the chains of transmission that have been added to them by Jamal al-Din bin Abdul Hadi, may God have mercy on him, through my hearing from him, his reading of them in his garden with the highest arrow, his approval of them for me, and my approval of them for our master, Judge Muhyi al-Din al-Maliki, by reciting them to me in his house in Damascus, in his Qasab shop, on the twentieth of Shawwal in the year 972... Praise be to God, who honored us with the Master of the Messengers.. And then, when the science of hadith was established, which is the foundation of knowledge. The hadith is presented in the ancient time and the hadith, and it is based on authentic knowledge, the highest of them and the highest in authenticity, and it happened to me through divine providence... Taking from a group of archaeologists and transmitting information from the imams, I wanted to mention forty hadiths from the traditional hadiths due to their high chain of transmission.
