A precious and valuable copy. It may be the author’s copy written in his own handwriting. There are some additions in the margins. This copy includes Issam al-Din’s footnote from the beginning of the book to the end of Surat Al-An’am.
This copy was mentioned in the previous index of the manuscripts of Dar al-Kutub al-Zahiriyah, Ulum al-Qur’an, by Dr. Azza Hassan.
Sample Text
Praise be to God who has given us abundant support. Guidance of the Criterion for every human being, and He extends throughout the ages from Anfal the length of this Qur’an with all goodness, a book whose beacon would not be extinguished by those who disbelieve... And then: So the one who lacks the solid God, Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Arabshah Al-Isfaraini, known as Issam al-Din, says, since the Great Qur’an, which is truly true for the purpose of glorification, is the best companion who does not tire of his speech and the most worthy of a friend who is pleased with his modernization.
