Notes	The origin of the book is Al-Jami’ Al-Saghir from the Hadith of Al-Bashir Al-Nazir by Al-Suyuti, which is a volume that he summarized from his book, Collecting Al-Jami’, arranged alphabetically. In it, he mentioned that he limited himself to brief hadiths, went to great lengths in editing the graduations, and preserved what was unique to him, such as a loser or a liar. Thus, he surpassed the books written in this genre and became famous. Al-Manawi wrote a commentary on it, and the Moroccans approved of it and asked him to combine it. So he resumed work and compiled a large, combined explanation into volumes that he called “Fayd al-Qadir.” Haji Khalifa mentions that some of them shortened it and called it (Al-Taysir).
