Notes Sections of the Arjoza: The author mentioned in the introduction that he has divided the Arjoza into two hundred chapters distributed over all parts of the body: The first chapter is in the introduction to the book and is about knowing the things that can be treated by correcting them. The third chapter is about knowing the diseases and the purposes that are relied upon by those who want to excrete something from the body. Twenty-five chapters on the head and related diseases, fourteen chapters: on diseases of the mouth and teeth, two chapters on diseases of the throat, seven chapters on diseases of the chest. Twelve chapters: on diseases of the stomach, five chapters on diseases of the heart, nine chapters on diseases of the liver, three chapters on diseases of the spleen, nine chapters on diseases of the intestines, two chapters on diseases of the kidneys, one chapter: on navel protrusion, seven chapters: on diseases of the bladder, two chapters: on the palate, six chapters: on diseases of women, six chapters: on diseases of the breech, seven chapters: on diseases of the legs and joints, thirty-three chapters: on diseases that are not in the arrangement of the organs, twenty-three chapters: on protections. The copyist gave a title to each chapter, and the arjuza was written, as the author indicated, by King Al-Adil Al-Ayyubid, who died in 615 AH.

Praise be to God, the Creator of man, whom God has honored and subjected to him all things and what is in the universe, and created diseases in him and made their root glut... and made his organs and veins connected to each other with ties that the creature is unable to unravel, and honored some of the organs, distinguished them, ruled them with His power, protected them, and made their cooker the stomach, and the divider for the organs the lungs... and this arjoza includes two hundred chapters.....
