Praise be to God who guided us to this, and we would not have been guided had God not guided us... As for what follows, a group of my friends and a group of my colleagues asked me to compile for them a brief explanation of the doctrine of the masters of behavior... A chapter on explaining the paths, which are three things: law, method, and truth. It is said that the law is like a ship, the way is like the sea, and the truth is like a course.
