The first sheet contains 21 lines of poetry. Its margin was marked with a careful pen: “The first part of the book Al-Basā’ir wa Al-Thakhīr, compiled by Imam Allamah Fakhr al-Din al-Razi. May God forgive him... It was said that Al-Zamakhshari when..., Interpretation of the Qur’an...». - Muhammad bin Omar bin Al-Hasan bin Al-Hussein bin Ali Al-Taymi, Al-Bakri, Al-Tabarstani, Al-Razi, Al-Shafi’i, known as Al-Fakhr Al-Razi, and Ibn Khatib Al-Ray, Abu Abdullah: He united his time in the reasonable and the transmitted, and the sciences of the firsts. He is of Quraish descent. His origin is from Tabaristan, and he was born in Al-Ray and there is his lineage. They would come to him from all over the country, regardless of their different interests in science or their skill, and each of them would find the ultimate goal in what he wanted from it. He was blessed with great happiness in his writings, and they spread across the horizons, and people began to engage in them. He went to Khwarazm, then beyond the river, returned to Rayy, and contacted Sultan Shihab al-Din al-Ghuri, the ruler of Ghazni. Then he returned to Khorasan and contacted Sultan Khwarazm Shah Muhammad bin Taksh, and was well received by him.
