Notes	The author's approach in this book is the question and answer method. He began by explaining the nature of geometry and the related elementary information (the six directions, the surface, the line, the point, the diameter, the sine...). Then he moved on to the science of numbers, astronomy and timing, then astronomical and physical geography. Then he touched on the science of the astrolabe and how to use this instrument before concluding to talk about the rulings of the stars and the nature of the zodiac signs. There are copies of this manuscript. See (Index of Illustrated Manuscripts, Part Three, Section One, pp. 21-22. The book was carefully printed with an English translation by Ramsy Wright, Oxford (Luzac) 1934 - see Relics of the Arab-Islamic Heritage 1: 400-402).
Sample Text	Being aware of the shape of the world and the nature of the sky and the earth and what is between them in terms of information taken with restriction is very useful in the industry of astrology, because through it a path is laid for the listener in which he becomes accustomed to the expressions that are used among its people, and his understanding of their meanings is facilitated... Therefore, I made this reminder for the seeker through question and answer.
