The copyist recorded the following after his name at the end of the manuscript: (Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, this blessed and auspicious copy was completed by the hand of the poorest of God’s servants, who is richer than anyone else (Abdullah), in the village of (Kannau). As for its beginning from the state of Balkan (Bale Kan) in the village of (Walz), then it traveled from there to the village of (Kalala), then it traveled from there to the village of (Kalala), then it traveled to the state of ( Hoshnaw, and from there to the village of Harmak, then I traveled to the state of Baban, and from there to the village of Markah, then to Surdash, then to Malakandi (Mah Lakh Nada), then to the town of Qal’at Jawalan, then to Kanaw (Kah Naw) in the year one thousand one hundred and ninety-eight, and I was reading the benefits of luminescence. End. The copy is stuffed with numerous footnotes from Kurdish scholars such as Yusuf al-Asam, Sibghat Allah al-Haidari, and others.
