Notes
In this classification, the author reviews the types of sciences, their ranks, goals, and general principles. He began it with an introduction in honor of science and scholars, then touched on teaching and learning and their conditions. Then he moved on to defining the various sciences alone, starting with literature and what branches from it, and ending with the science of home management. After the conclusion, he presented the five faculties and the ten categories of logic. The number of sciences mentioned in detail in this treatise is sixty, and it is noted that about sixty are Composed. The book was printed in Beirut in 1904, see Sarkis Dictionary 464.
