It was said that the news reached them, so they performed Umrah with that, and then God Almighty revealed this verse. As for hitting the tambourine, we said that Al-Shafi’i, may God have mercy on him, permitted it in marriage for information, not for play. If it is said that wine and pleasure were permitted in the beginning, then if we said that abrogation is permissible, that would be a reversal of the first, and it would become as if God Almighty commanded us and then appeared to him about that.
