Notes
The message is a summary of the author’s book “The Lamp of Guidance and the Key to Knowledge,” which he wrote as an explanation of the book “Al-Hidaya” by Al-Marginani. On the back of the cover is a reading by Badr al-Din bin al-Haj Kamal al-Khalawati, in Jumada al-Ula in the year 1130 AH, the first of which is a reading by Kamal al-Din in the year 1112 AH, a reading by Mustafa Bey (Jwan?) in Jumada al-Akhirah in the year 1081 AH, and another reading by Yusuf bin Muhammad al-Khalidi al-Maqdisi on Ramadan 11, 1277 AH, and a reading by Badr al-Din Bey in the year 1183 AH, a reading by Yusuf bin Salem, a reading by Salah al-Din bin Abdul Latif al-Ilm in Jumada al-Akhirah in the year 87 (11) AH, and a reading by Muhammad Fadlullah al-Dajjani in Shawwal in the year 1094 AH.

As for what follows, some friends asked me, may God protect us and them, to shorten the book “Misbah al-Hidaya wa Miftah al-Wilaya,” and I saw good in that, God willing, so I answered him, and from God I derive success, and from Him I ask for guidance to the straight path.
