Jalal al-Din, the one of the diligent scholars, Abu al-Fadl Abd al-Rahman ibn our master, the poor servant of God Almighty, the late Sheikh Kamal al-Din, the scholar of Muslims, Abu al-Munaqib, Abu Bakr al-Suyuti al-Shafi’i... Praise be to God, who sent down to His servant the Book, an insight for those of understanding, and entrusted it with the wondrous arts of science and wisdom, and made it the most sublime of books in value, the most abundant in knowledge, the most pure in organization, and the most eloquent in speech. An Arabic Qur’an that is neither crooked nor distorted, without similarities or confusion
