The author reminds us in his conclusion that he relied on pluralization and Arabization (from Turkish) in writing his book. The book begins by mentioning the biographies of scholars during the reign of Sultan Selim Khan, then mentions the history of the Sultans of the House of Othman since the reign of Sultan Suleiman Khan in the year 926 AH (since Chapter 1129 AH, at the end of the reign of Sultan Ahmed, and mentions the scholars of his state. This is followed by a long chapter on (the laws of the Ottoman Empire, their biography and upbringing), and another chapter mentioning their occupation of Tunisia and their actions there. The author concludes by talking about Mawla Hussein Bey Ali, the Emir of Tunisia in his time, and about his virtues and beautiful qualities.
