Notes
The copyist wrote the text in black ink only, on a newly made kagi. He also used black ink to place lines under the names of the books, and the meanings of some words in Urdu were written between the lines. The last of which is a restriction of an interview, from which it appears that it was originally met on the 4th of Ramadan in the year 1244 AH, in Balkanha. Its copies: including many copies, see: Khudabakhsh Index 30/138, Brockelmann Appendix 2/521, and Descriptive Index 3/292-293, where other copies of it were mentioned in some treasures.
Sample Text
As for what follows, Salem bin Abdullah bin Salem Al-Basri Al-Shafi’i, the poor of his Lord and the prisoner of his sin, says, God treated him with his hidden divorce and sufficed him with the passages of time among those who are sufficient: Since the chain of transmission is part of the religion and among the paths that lead to the master of the ancients and the last, the righteous predecessors exerted their lofty determination and brilliant thoughts in that regard until the authentic hadiths were distinguished from the weak hadiths.
