Notes
A copy with some explanations. It is an arjoza located in (160) verses. The author was born in Ja'bar Castle on the Euphrates between Pals and Raqqa near Siffin (Mu'jam al-Buldan 2/143) in the year 640 AH/1242 AD. He traveled to Baghdad and contacted its scholars and learned from them. He traveled to Damascus and resided there, then settled in Hebron in Palestine and became famous there until he died. He is called (Sheikh of Hebron), and he may be known as Ibn al-Sarraj, and his nickname in Baghdad is (Taqi al-Din) and elsewhere (Burhan al-Din). A scholar, writer, and one of the Shafi’i jurists. He composed and wrote prose, and participated in some sciences. Among his works are: A summary of research, which is an explanation of Manzumah fi al-Qira’at, Kanz al-Ma’ani, Sharh Harz al-Amani, Nuzhat al-Barbara fi the Ten Qira’at al-Qira’at, The Noble Date, Mujjaz fi Ulum al-Hadith, Hadayqat al-Zahr, Aqod al-Juman fi Tajweed of the Qur’an, and others.
