Notes
The manuscript explains the ruling on ammonia, which is extracted from the vents of bathrooms in Egypt and elsewhere and collected from the vapors of impurities, and whether it is impure or not. He says in it: “Nawshader is a Persian name, and it is of two types: natural and manufactured. The natural comes out of hot springs in the mountains of Kharasat. Its water boils like a pot, and Nawshader gathers around it.” It is clear and transparent. The industrial product is obtained from the dung smoke collected in the bottoms and hoods of the bathrooms, and it is collected, cooked, and noshadar is extracted from it. Perhaps it was written in the author's handwriting.
