Praise be to God who revealed His Noble Book and made it a basis for explaining the rulings in His upright Sharia........ And the form of his question: What do you say about the doctrine of Abu Hanifa, may God be pleased with him, and his two companions, Abu Yusuf and Muhammad, for each one of them is diligent in the four principles of Sharia, namely the Qur’an, the Sunnah, consensus, and analogy, and each of them has an independent opinion other than the saying of the other on the one legal issue. How do you call these three schools of thought one school of thought, and say that all are the doctrine of Abu Hanifa...?
