I say, after praising God and praising Him as befits Him, and praying for Muhammad: I wanted to edit the books labeled as intermediates, I mean the books that would mediate in the educational arrangement between the book “Principles” by Euclid, and the “Almagest” by Ptolemy, so when I arrived at the book “Manalas on Spheres”; I found many different versions of it, not summing up the issues, and confusing reforms, such as the reforms of Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Issa Al-Mahali, Abu Al-Fadl Ahmad bin Abi Saad Al-Harawi, and others... until I found the reform of Prince Abu Nasr Mansur bin Iraq, may God have mercy on him, and it became clear to me from it that I knew what I was stopping at, so I edited the book as much as I could.
