Notes	The third part of the book Al-Tahdhib, Mukhtasar Tahdheeb Al-Kamal, by Al-Mazi Yusuf Ibn Abd al-Rahman, who died in the year 742 (Brockelmann 64: 2). It is the summary of Al-Tahtheeb by Al-Mazzi, and it contains Al-Dhahabi’s follow-ups on the original by saying “I said,” and this part begins with Ubaid bin Abdul Karim bin Zaid Al-Makhzoumi bin Zar’ah and ends with Muhammad bin Mansour bin Daoud Al-Tusi. The next volume was written by Ishaq bin Ahmad bin Ishaq Al-Umayyad Al-Murabba'i in the year 762.
