It is preceded by an incomplete treatise on asceticism (q. 1-24), followed by a part of Ibn al-Jallab’s work on Maliki jurisprudence, “Forgetfulness in Prayer” (q. 28-36), followed by a treatise on faith by Ibrahim bin Abd al-Jabbar al-Tilmisani (q. 37-41). These fatwas were collected by Muhammad bin Abi al-Qasim al-Sanhaji. (Title documentation from the flags). Microfilm number: 17140.
Sample Text
Praise be to God who... I placed this restriction after istikharah for the one who desires goodness... and it is believed at the word of the message that Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, is a true messenger from God Almighty to the worlds, not a poet, nor a soothsayer, nor a madman, as the pre-Islamic era said.
