As for what follows: It has been narrated on the authority of Ali, Abdullah bin Masoud, Muadh bin Jabal, Abu Darda, Ibn Omar, Ibn Abbas, Anas bin Malik, Abu Hurairah, and Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, may God be pleased with them all, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever memorizes forty hadiths from my nation concerning matters of his religion, God Almighty will raise him on the Day of Resurrection to the group of jurists and scholars.”
