On the front of the book is a phrase in Turkish to this effect: “The keeper of books brought this book marked with warnings from astrologers in place of the lost book from the Sulaimaniyah library, Kitab Mukhtasar al-Fusool, in the year 1195 AH.”

But then; This is what the lowest and lesser servant says, i.e. Ibn Muhammad Qasim, the astronomer Muzaffar, who, because of the effort of Faiz Mather and always Zamir[?], the king of Jamjah, the star of the army... Abu al-Muzaffar, Shah Abbas al-Slub al-Musoji[?]
