Sheikh Ali bin Majd al-Din al-Shahrudi and then al-Bistami... in the year eight hundred and sixty-one in the Sultanate’s house in Adrianople.” We set this as the date of composition, and it is possible that the manuscript was in the author’s handwriting, and God knows best.
Sample Text	Praise be to God, the unbounded thanks, who are so lofty with wisdom that on the wings of your effort and your thoughts, the number of them flies in the air, the number of them does not reach the peak of wisdom and the nest of its definition, and your sharp vehicle and the distance of two, even if it dawns in the boundless bounds of its promise, it cannot cut off a house from its endless houses.
