Notes
At the beginning of the book there are various benefits, and at the end there is an interest dated to the year 87, that is, the year 87 or 100, and the titles and the like are in red. The text is annotated, with corrections and comments in the margins, some of which are in Arabic. Nothing was found in the book to correct its attribution to the Shiite Tanakabani as it is indexed in Sulaymaniyah, and in fact it is not in Shiite jurisprudence. In addition to this, Al-Tankabni had a book entitled: “Bada’i’ Al-Ahkam Sharh Shara’i Al-Islam,” but he died in the year 1310 AH, according to Al-Zirkali. Perhaps the cataloguers in Sulaymaniyah stumbled upon this name and overlooked the date of copying, and the content of the book, which does not agree with either Al-Tankabni’s doctrine being Shiite, nor the date of his death.
