There is an entry corresponding to the copy on the original written by Ahmed Al-Atassi. Conclusion of the first part: The first part was completed, with the praise of God Almighty, His help, and His good success, in the guarded city of Homs, followed by the forty-first, at the hands of the guilty servant, Al-Khatbi, the despicable, the poor, who confesses to shortcomings and negligence, and who hopes for the pardon of his merciful Lord, Abdul Qadir bin Ibrahim Al-Atassi, from the months of the year nineteen hundred and seven. The writing on some papers is surrounded by frames drawn in red, some titles are also written in red and green, and in the margins there are some various additions and explanations, and an index of genres and chapters has been added to the copy.

Praise be to God, who sent down to His servant the Book, an insight for those of understanding, and entrusted it with the wondrous arts of science and wisdom, and made it the most sublime of books in value, the most abundant in knowledge, the most pure in organization, and the most eloquent in speech. An Arabic Qur’an that is neither crooked nor distorted, without similarities or confusion
