Notes
Correspondence to the original and to the two Sahih compilers: Al-Bukhari and Muslim. The copyist wrote the text entirely in black ink, and used red ink to write the serial number of the hadiths in the footnotes and to draw warning lines on the names of the narrators, and so on. The copyist appended to it an index of the contents of the book and indicated that he had finished correcting it, comparing it to the original, and presented it to the two Sahih books on Monday, Rabi’ al-Akhir 3, 1245 AH. Copied: Brockelmann mentioned a number of its copies in Appendix 1/578.

God Almighty says in His Book revealed to His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, that people were one nation, so God sent the prophets as bearers of good tidings and warnings, and He sent down with them the Book with the truth to judge between the people in what they differed about.
