Notes There is another copy in the Al-Qamhawi Library in Nablus, the first part of the footnote from 9, manuscript number 28, the second part of the footnote: p. 91, manuscript number: 29. The author: Abu Al-Irfan Sheikh Muhammad bin Ali Al-Sabban Al-Shafi’i Al-Hanafi: He was born in Egypt, memorized the Qur’an and the texts, worked hard in seeking knowledge, attended the sheikhs of his time, and received the path of the people and indoctrination of the dhikr according to the method of the Shadhili masters. And he received the path of loyal masters. He was famous for investigating, examining, debating, and arguing, and his mention and virtue were widespread among scholars in Egypt and the Levant.
Sample Text In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, we thank you, O God, for the blessings you have directed toward us. We thank you for what you have shown us of the obscure secrets, noble contents, and noble and noble reports, with which you served the commentary of the scholar Nour al-Din Abi al-Hasan, Ali bin Muhammad al-Ashmouni al-Shafi’i, on the millennium of Imam Ibn Malik, with all your service, and spent all your effort in editing its premises and refining its meanings, summarizing in it the foam of what the eminent sheikhs wrote about it, pointing out many of the ills of understanding and delusions of minds that had occurred to them. There are other kinds of precious things that are written that make the mind clear
