As for after thanking God: “As for” is a word that contains the meaning of a condition, so the fa was necessary for it. Sibawayh said: Their saying: As for Zaid, he is the starting point of its meaning, no matter what it is, so Zaid is a starting point. The fa was slipped to the predicate out of distaste for it to be connected verbally between the letters of the condition and the penalty, and to include the meaning of the beginning.
