As for what follows, God Almighty sent Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, at a time when... false desires and the clash of idle opinions, and people were wandering in the camp of Khandas on the night of misguidance, worshiping idols and bowing down to their chins, prostrating there in the mornings and evenings, not knowing a religion, nor being guided to a soul, nor having a path to the sources of truth...
