- A copy of it is in the Asif Treasury No. 15 of Chemistry. A copy is in the possession of Akai Syed Muhammad Ali, a professor at Nizam College in Hyderabad. A copy is in Maulana Khalil Allah’s school library: (Tazkirat al-Nawadir, p. 182, No. 315-2). And a copy of the fourth part of it is in the Islamic Research Institute in Islamabad - Pakistan. See: Ahmed Farouk: “The Islamic Research Institute’s Care of Arabic Manuscripts”: (“Journal of the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts” 19 [Cairo - May 1973] vol. 1, p. 153, serial 60). The title of the book was “The Report on the Secrets of Composition.” Correct: “approximation”. The author of “Dictionary of Arabic and Arabized Publications,” p. 704, said: “I saw, by Ibn Aydmar al-Jaldaki, the following manuscripts in the Al-Hajjaj Library in Cairo:..., Al-Taqrib fi the Secrets of the Science of Composition.” Regarding this “al-Taqrib” see: (“Kashf al-Dhunoun” 1: 465), (“Khedive Index” 5: 359), (“Al-Dhari’ah” 4: 364-365). - We discussed the author’s translation and news, and what was said about the difference in his name and his father’s name, and the year of his death: in footnotes (2) and (3) of the footnotes of the book “Al-Burhan fi Asrar Ilm Al-Mizan”: No. (2/Chemistry). It was stated in it: “The author is attributed to “Jaladak” from the villages of Khorasan, two farsangs from Mashhad al-Rida. He is one of the most famous chemistry scholars. He resided in Damascus for a period of time, and compiled one of his books there, “Al-Badr Al-Munir fi Knowledge of the Secrets of the Elixir” in the year 740 AH. He compiled another book during his stay in Cairo, “The Results of Thought in the Conditions of Stone”, in the year 742 AH. He has a major authorship in the field of chemistry. The sources differed regarding his name and the name of his father: in (Revealing Suspicions): “Izz al-Din Aydmir bin Ali bin Aydmir al-Jaldaki.” His book (Kanz al-Ikhtisas fi Ilm al-Khawas) was published in Pompeii in the year 1891 AD. His name was mentioned in it as “Ali bin Muhammad Aydmir al-Malaki,” and in the Khedive Index: “Izz al-Din Ali bin Aydmir bin Ali al-Jaldaki.” Likewise in Brockelmann. Sheikh Agha Buzurg (Al-Dhari’ah 3: 69-70) elaborated on his name, and mentioned the person who was named by this name. In the year of his death, there is a difference: Mention: Brockelmann and Agha Buzurg. He died in the year 862 AH, or before, or 750 AH. In (Khedival Index) and (Shiite Notables): He died in the year 762 AH, and it was said 750, 743 AH, and after 742 AH. No matter how different the sources mention the year of his death, she is one of the people of the eighth century AH.”
