The author worked in the science of hadith, then he came to Baghdad from Khurasan and looked at the library of Ali bin Yahya the astrologer. He leaned towards astrology and became one of the most famous scholars of his time in astronomy and astrology, and he died with the help of his writings. The Book of Thousands. Introduction to the science of astrological rulings, book of births. Book of omens and stars. Contributions from the Twelve Zodiac Signs, a book on converting birth ages, a book on earphone choices...etc. In one of the chapters, the author discussed the well-known astrology books of his time, which were preserved in the treasures of kings, sultans, senior statesmen, and scholars, and which historians neglected to mention, in addition to the well-known books circulating among the people, which he did not want to mention due to their fame. Among the books he mentioned in this book were: The Book of Experiments by Yahya ibn Barmak, The Book of Return and Descending, by Yahya ibn Mansour, and Abu Musafer Al-Yamani’s book, The Benefits of Stars in Talismans. A book of pictures of the zodiac sign. The Book of Secrets by Hermes. Al-Harrani book. The Book of Beauties by Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Tahir, The Book of Three Hundred and Sixty Pictures, The Book of Manahs and Happinesses by Sanad bin Ali, and other books. He also mentioned the oldest known marriages of his time, and Archimedes’ marriage was considered the oldest of the marriages. The copy contains many footnotes, the last of which are astronomical tables.
