Notes Within a group (from sheet 161a to sheet 242a). In the end we say: Here is a problem.. It was mentioned in the manuscript that the Diwan of Animals is by Ibn Imad! It is known that the Diwan of the Animal is Al-Suyuti’s summary of the book Life of the Animal by Al-Dumayri. Haji Khalifa says: The Life of the Animal by Sheikh Kamal Al-Din Al-Suyuti, who died in 911 AH. The beginning of it is: Praise be to God who honored the human type. It was mentioned in it that he deleted a lot of its fillers and compensated for two things, the first of which was an increase in interest in the animal that was mentioned in it, and the second was a mention of what he missed from the animal, taken from language books. He called it the Diwan of the Animal and the second section. Arranged according to the letters, he called it the tail of the animal and completed it in Dhul-Qi’dah in the year 901 AH.
Sample Text Praise be to God, that is enough, and peace be upon His servants whom He has chosen. So he says... Al-Armioni... When I saw some of the brothers denying the permissibility of some animals, I wanted the book Diwan Al-Haiya’ by the scholar Ibn Al-Imad in mentioning animals, and I mention the ruling on it.
