Notes The name of the author was not mentioned in the manuscript, and it was stated in the notebook of the books of Hagia Sophia that this copy was written by Sinan al-Mahshi, and Ismail Pasha mentioned that al-Mahshi Sinan had a commentary on Surat al-Mulk, al-Muddaththir, and al-Qamar, and a footnote on al-Baydawi. It starts from Surat Al-An'am to Surat Al-Kahf, then Surat Al-Qamar, Al-Malik, Al-Muzzammil, Al-Muddaththir, Al-Duha, Al-Sharh, Al-Tin, Al-Alaq, Al-Qadar, Al-Bayyinah, Al-Zalzalah, and Al-Adiyat. On the first page of it, he wrote an index of the surahs interpreted in it, annotated, with comments, corrections, and the phrase “Muttalib” and differences in transcription in its footnotes.
Sample Text O He who has engraved the branches of rhetoricians with the wonders of the works of verses and the Wise Remembrance, and silenced the mouths of preachers with the minutests of the subtle proofs and the great criterion, and deposited the minutest facts of truth and metaphor in His Noble Book, and made the branches of the gardens of eloquence and miracles grow, saying, “From the Wise, the All-Knowing.” We praise You for what You have revealed to us the hidden secrets of Your Book and made us discover the treasures of the pearls of Your speech... And then: It is concentrated in the mind of every intelligent writer and in the mind of every person with correct understanding who cannot find an article to refute it
