Notes	A mention of Al-Tahtawi’s authorization of Al-Khanji, and Al-Khanji’s chains of transmission to the record of Al-Amir Al-Kabir. At the end of the authorization, it was quoted in Al-Khanji’s handwriting from an article written in Al-Fath magazine published in Cairo in issue 259 on Thursday 30 Safar 1350 regarding his book Al-Jawhar Al-Asna fi Biographies of Scholars and Poets of Bosnia, followed by a chapter mentioning Muhammad Al-Khanji’s visit to Al-Maddah School and the story of one of its students reciting Al-Khanji’s book The Life of the Prophets.
Sample Text	Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Khanji al-Busnawi says, “And know that I have permission from the virtuous scholar and scholar, the Musnad of Egypt in his time, the author of many useful works, Mr. Ahmad Rafi’ ibn al-Sayyid Muhammad Rafi’ al-Hanafi al-Tahtawi al-Misri. May God prolong his life. He granted me permission before I headed to Mecca for the honorable Hajj. He treated me with everything that was authentic to him.
