It also mentions some noble hadiths, if any. The Dhahiriyya Library owns copies of this book, No. 3282, 3283, 3284, and 3288. Dr. Sami Hamarneh mentioned it in his index on pages 379-383. The book was printed in multiple editions. “Bulaq 1275-1284-1292 AH - Astana 1272 AH, Egypt 1303 - 1313 - 1319 - 1330 AH, Persia 1285 AH, with pictures and drawings of all animals and humans.
Sample Text A ship like a hegemony: Ibn Samaan said in Al-Asbab, that it is a bird in Egypt that throws leaves from trees until nothing remains. Abu Ishaq Ibrahim bin Al-Hasan bin Ali Al-Hamdani was likened to him, one of the greatest hadith scholars, because if he found a hadith narrator he heard about, he would collect what he had until nothing of his hadith remained. The first part was completed by the weakest of God’s creation, Abd al-Rahman bin Nusayr, on the fourteenth of Rajab al-Fard in the year one hundred and seventy and eight.
