The author of the book mentioned that in it he combined the two books “The Healing of Bodies” by Jamal al-Din Muhammad Abi al-Ghaith al-Kamrani, who died in the year 857 AH, and “The Book of Mercy” by al-Hakim al-Muqri Mahdi bin Ali bin Ibrahim al-Sanbari, who died in the year 815 AH, then he added to them the book “Al-Laqt” by Ibn al-Jawzi, “Risala al-Hakim” by al-Mardini, Majmoo’ al-Suwaydi, and Bara’ Sa’ah by al-Razi, and many other things mentioned in the book. Its end: It is in the shift of the poor servant Qasim bin Mustafa bin Haidar bin Mustafa Fayrouz, and this may have been the name of the copyist, but he did not stipulate that.

After the basmala, praise be to God, exalted above equals, sanctified above opposites... As for what follows: Medicine has great its usefulness and value, exalted its honor and pride, its remembrance and virtue is famous, its origin is established in the Sharia, and its authenticity is attested by the Qur’an and Sunnah.
