Sample Text
The Book of Oaths and Vows: Chapter on the words of God Almighty, “God will not call you to account for what is vain in your oaths...”: Muhammad ibn Muqatil Abu al-Hasan told us, Abdullah told us, Hisham ibn Urwa told us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Aisha, that Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, had never broken an oath until God revealed the expiation for swearing an oath, and he said: “No.” I swear an oath and I see something else better than it, unless I take the one that is better and atone for my oath.”
