Sample Text Chapter: How was the beginning of the revelation to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his saying, the Almighty, “Indeed, We have revealed to you just as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him...” Al-Humaidi told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Yahya bin Saeed Al-Ansari, that Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Taimi told me that he heard Alqamah ibn Waqqas Al-Laithi said: I heard Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, on the pulpit. He said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, saying: “Actions are based on intentions, but each person has what he intended. So whoever emigrated was for a worldly life to gain or for a woman to marry, then his migration was for what he emigrated to.”
